What is an MLS? Today’s MLS is a course about the Multiple Listing Service from its conception to today’s trends. From the benefits of listing property for sellers, and searching for property for buyers, to its governance and economic impact on its local area that it serves. It all starts with the local MLS. When brokers and agents learn the dos and the don’ts of an MLS, their buyers and seller benefit tenfold. This course is NOT a “how-to” – it is a “MUST-KNOW”. Data derived from MLSs is the mainstream for consumer internet searches, vendor products, and MLS services. This is now a multi-billion-dollar industry. Bad data, errors, and inconsistencies from the listing entry could put the brokers and agents at risk.
